The name Donald Trump means a lot of things most of them not particularly good-to a lot of people, but now, it will forever be enmeshed with the country’s highest office. And though Trump has said that he will step back from day-to-day operations of his eponymous real estate company while he holds the office of President, the Trump Organization still owns properties in 19 cities across the globe. New York, of course, is where he is most prominent, with no less than nine properties in his name (typically in large, gaudy, gold letters). With that in mind, let’s take a look at the buildings owned by Trump in his home state.
Trump, during his life, invested a lot into different projects, business, properties, seeing an opportunity everywhere. Many investors consider real estate market as the least risky investment among all the other options. But let’s consider Trump’s investment in the New York’s property market, as it worth 1.6 billion dollars and significantly adorns streets of the New York City.
40 Wall Street

Trump Tower

One of the most famous buildings on the planet thanks to the presidential campaign, Trump Tower has been hit by weaker real estate values in the neighborhood. Total value – $353 million.
Trump’s Niketown

Long the sole tenant at 6 East 57th Street in New York City, Nike signed a 15-year, $700 million leases in late 2016 for a nearby space, stoking rumors that it will vacate this Trump property. The building was originally the Gulf and Western Building, designed by Thomas E. Stanley and built in 1969. The tower was designed for office use and was built in isolation, away from other high-rise buildings. Because of this, the building would slightly sway during strong winds, a minor inconvenience that did not exist for buildings built close to each other. Total value – $39 million.
Trump Plaza

Trump and his partners agreed to sell the whole complex for $850 million in September and are now awaiting approval from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development.
